About Jeannine

I have been taking photographs since I was a young child. My first camera was a Kodak Instamatic with a flash cube. When I was 10, I saved up my paper route money and purchased a Minolta 35mm. Photography is a way of life to me, it is rare that I go somewhere without some sort of camera. I shoot with mainly a Nikon D-SLR, but have all formats. I also own a 4x5 camera for interiors. The instamatic is still mine, and still works!

I studied photography at Rochester Institute of Technology, and later graduated from Salem State College with a degree in Art, with a Photography concentration, and a minor in Foreign Language. I grew up and currently live in Danvers, where I am a member of the Danvers Art Association, the Peabody Art Association and am on the Fine Art Committee for the Topsfield Fair.

When I am not taking photographs, I am planning my next travel, helping at Rosie’s Place, a shelter for poor and homeless women. You can also find me watching the Red Sox / Patriots / Celtics / Bruins, boxing at Title Boxing, running a road race or the D5k and spending time with the best Jack Russell Terrier, and model.
